Smile even at the worst times

Well, now then I know how unreliable the products sold at NATAS fair is.

I purchased a Korean package with my fren.
Set to depart on day XX.
Paid deposit.
Confirmed by the sales it will depart.

3 days later, after the NATAS fair.
I applied my annual leave.
Another girl called.
Say they have to change the departure day because there were insufficient travellers.
Fine. I will change my leave dates then.
Then, they say we have to move with SQ, instead of Korean air which we have booked earlier on, because ALL the travellers are moving with SQ.
Fine. SQ better.
But... we have to top up $20+ per person to pay for the airport tax difference!

After a few rounds of negotiation, we gave in. Since SQ is better and they threatened to return us the complete deposit amount. That was already AFTER the NATAS fair. If they told us earlier, we could have booked package from another agency!

A few days later, on Tuesday, my fren called to confirm with them the amount to pay.
Confimed that each person has to pay 22 extra.
Fine. We were already not happy that we agreed on that original price and yet we have to pay more now.

Just now, I went down to make the payment.
The tax amount that I have to pay is now $88!! Each person has to pay an extra of $44!!!

SCAM!!!
WTF!!!!!
I was so shocked.
I called my fren and she was shocked too.
After a round of heated argument and with the help of a manager (I think), they finally agreed to share the tax and we shall pay the $2 which we had initially agreed upon.

Anyway, after this incident, I really am skeptical about buying packages from NATAS fair, especially from NAM HO TRAVEL.

Lets hope that this travel will be an enjoyable one.
